Permissions and Roles
Control who can see and do what across your brokerage with ListHouze's role-based permissions system. Assign predefined roles or create custom ones to ensure agents, team leads, office managers, and administrators each have the right level of access — no more, no less. Proper permissions protect sensitive data while empowering your team to work independently.
Built-In Roles
ListHouze ships with four default roles: Administrator, Office Manager, Team Lead, and Agent. Each role comes with a predefined set of permissions covering lead access, listing management, reporting visibility, billing controls, and system settings. Most brokerages can get started immediately using these defaults.
Creating Custom Roles
If the built-in roles do not fit your structure, create custom roles from the Permissions page. Select individual permissions from a categorized checklist, name your role, and assign it to any number of users. Custom roles can be duplicated and modified to quickly build variations for different departments.
Auditing Access and Changes
Review the permissions audit log to see who accessed sensitive data or changed system settings. The audit trail records every permission change, role assignment, and administrative action with timestamps and user attribution, supporting compliance and internal accountability.
