Agent Documentation Overview
ListHouze gives real estate agents a single platform to manage every aspect of their business — from creating and syndicating property listings to generating marketing content, automating social media, tracking leads, and analyzing performance. This section of the documentation covers every agent-facing feature in detail, organized into five core capability areas.
Whether you just completed the Quick Start for Agents or you have been using ListHouze for months and want to unlock advanced features, this overview page is your roadmap. Each section below provides a brief description of what the capability area covers and links to the detailed guides within it.
Listings Management
The Listings Management module is the foundation of your ListHouze experience. It handles everything related to creating, editing, syndicating, and tracking your property listings across the ListHouze marketplace, your connected MLS, and third-party portals.
When you create a listing in ListHouze, you enter property details once and the platform distributes them everywhere they need to go. The listing wizard walks you through property type selection, address entry with auto-complete, detailed property attributes, photo and virtual tour uploads, pricing configuration, and open house scheduling. Every listing includes a public-facing page on ListHouze with a shareable URL, photo gallery, map embed, mortgage calculator, and agent contact form.
After publication, the syndication engine pushes your listing data to your connected MLS board using RETS or RESO Web API protocols. Status changes — price adjustments, pending, sold, withdrawn — are automatically synced in both directions, so your MLS and ListHouze listings are always consistent.
Key guides in this section:
- Creating a Listing — Step-by-step walkthrough of the full listing creation workflow, including the AI description generator, photo requirements, and virtual tour integration.
- Photos & Virtual Tours — Best practices for property photography, upload specifications, gallery ordering, and virtual tour embeds.
- MLS Syndication — How listing data flows between ListHouze and your MLS, including field mapping, sync frequency, and troubleshooting.
Content Creation
The Content Creation suite helps you produce professional marketing materials without hiring a copywriter or designer. At the center of this capability is the AI Writing Assistant, a purpose-built language model trained on millions of real estate listings, blog posts, and marketing campaigns.
The AI Writing Assistant is available in multiple places throughout the platform. Inside the listing wizard, it generates property descriptions from your listing details and photos. In the blog editor, it drafts full-length articles on topics you specify, with SEO-optimized headings and meta descriptions. In the social media composer, it writes platform-specific captions with hashtag suggestions tailored to your market.
Beyond text generation, the content creation tools include a template library with pre-designed layouts for property flyers, just-listed postcards, open house invitations, and email newsletters. Templates are fully customizable — swap colors, fonts, logos, and images to match your personal brand or agency guidelines.
AI Writing Assistant Pro Tip
When using the AI Writing Assistant to generate listing descriptions, select the tone that best matches the property's target audience. Use Luxury for high-end properties to emphasize premium finishes and exclusive amenities. Use Investment for multi-family or commercial properties to highlight cap rates, rental income potential, and ROI. The AI adjusts its vocabulary, sentence structure, and emphasis based on your selection.
Key guides in this section:
- AI Writing Assistant — How to use AI-generated descriptions, blog posts, and social captions across the platform.
- Email Templates — Browse and customize pre-designed templates for emails and more.
- Blog Editor — Create SEO-optimized blog content with AI assistance and publish it to your ListHouze profile.
Social Media Marketing
ListHouze connects to five major social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter) — giving you a unified hub for publishing, scheduling, and tracking your social media presence. Instead of logging into each platform separately, you manage everything from the ListHouze Social Media dashboard.
The social media module is built around three workflows. First, auto-posting automatically publishes a social media post whenever you create a new listing, change a listing status, or schedule an open house. Second, scheduled posting lets you compose posts in advance and queue them for publication at optimal times based on your audience's engagement patterns. Third, analytics tracks impressions, clicks, engagement rates, and follower growth across all connected platforms in a single unified report.
Each platform has its own requirements and content formats. Facebook supports text posts with images, carousels, and link previews. Instagram requires a connected Professional account and supports feed posts, Stories, and Reels. LinkedIn is ideal for professional market updates and thought leadership content. TikTok supports short-form vertical video generated from your listing photos. X supports text posts with images and link cards.
Key guides in this section:
- Connecting Platforms — OAuth setup instructions for all five platforms, including account type requirements and troubleshooting.
- Auto-Posting — Configure rules that automatically publish social media posts when listing events occur.
- Scheduling Posts — Compose and queue posts with the visual calendar scheduler.
- Brand Templates — Create reusable post templates with your branding, colors, and default hashtags.
- Social Analytics — Track cross-platform performance metrics and identify your highest-performing content.
Lead Management
Every inquiry that comes through your ListHouze listings — whether from the contact form, a phone call tracked by the platform, a social media message, or an email — is captured as a lead in your pipeline. The Lead Management module gives you tools to organize, score, assign, and nurture those leads from first contact through closing.
Leads enter your pipeline automatically and are scored based on configurable criteria: engagement level (how many listings they have viewed, how many times they have contacted you), financial readiness (whether they have completed pre-qualification), timeline (their stated purchase timeline), and source quality (which channel the lead came from). You can customize scoring weights to match your business priorities.
The lead pipeline is displayed as a Kanban board with customizable stages — New, Contacted, Qualified, Showing Scheduled, Offer Made, Under Contract, Closed, and Lost. Drag leads between stages as they progress, and set up automated follow-up sequences that trigger emails or text messages based on stage transitions. For agents who use external CRM systems, ListHouze integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Follow Up Boss, and LionDesk through bidirectional data sync.
Key guides in this section:
- Lead Dashboard — Navigate the lead pipeline Kanban board and manage leads through each stage.
- Lead Scoring — Configure scoring rules and weights to prioritize the most promising leads.
- Automated Follow-Ups — Set up email and SMS sequences triggered by lead actions and stage changes.
- CRM Integration — Connect ListHouze to your existing CRM for bidirectional lead sync.
Analytics & Reporting
The Analytics module provides visibility into every measurable aspect of your ListHouze activity. From listing performance and social media engagement to lead conversion rates and revenue tracking, the data you need to make informed decisions is always one click away.
The analytics dashboard includes pre-built report templates for common use cases: Listing Performance (views, inquiries, days on market, price-to-list ratio), Social Media Performance (impressions, clicks, engagement, follower growth), Lead Conversion (source attribution, funnel drop-off, time to close), and Revenue Summary (closed deals, commission earned, monthly trends). Each report can be filtered by date range, property type, listing status, and geographic area.
For deeper analysis, the Custom Report Builder lets you select specific metrics, apply filters, choose visualization types (line charts, bar charts, pie charts, tables), and save reports to your dashboard as persistent widgets. You can also schedule reports to be emailed to you on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in PDF or CSV format.
Key guides in this section:

- Custom Reports — Build custom reports with the drag-and-drop report builder.
