Importing Listings
ListHouze offers multiple ways to import property listings from external sources, saving you the time of manually entering property details.
Import from URL
The simplest import method lets you paste a property listing URL from a major Australian or New Zealand portal.
How to Import
- From the listings dashboard, click Import from URL.
- Paste the full URL of a property listing into the input field.
- The system automatically detects which portal the URL is from and shows its support level.
- Click Import Property.
Supported Portals
| Portal | Support Level | Details |
|---|---|---|
| realestate.com.au | Full | All property details, images, and features extracted |
| domain.com.au | Full | All property details, images, and features extracted |
| onthehouse.com.au | Partial | Address extracted from URL and geocoded. Other details require manual entry. |
| homes.co.nz | Partial | Address extracted and geocoded. Other details require manual entry. |
| allhomes.com.au | Basic | Basic property data extraction |
| homely.com.au | Basic | Basic property data extraction |
| Other sites | Generic | Will attempt generic import with geocoding |
What Gets Imported
Depending on the source portal and support level, the following data may be extracted:
- Headline and description
- Street address, suburb, state, postcode, country
- Property type and listing type
- Price and price display
- Bedrooms, bathrooms, parking
- Land size and building size
- Year built and features
- Property images
- Virtual tour URL and floor plan URL
- Council rates and strata levies (AU)
- Title number, legal description, capital value, tenure (NZ)
Import Review
After importing, you are taken to the Import Review page to verify and complete the imported data.
Review Tabs
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| Basic | Headline, description, property type, listing type, bed/bath/parking, pricing |
| Location | Street address, suburb, state/region, postcode. LINZ lookup for NZ properties. |
| Features | Property features organised by category (internal, external, energy, parking) |
| Details | Land size, building size, year built, virtual tour, floor plan, council rates, strata, lot/plan. |

Partial Imports
If the scraper could not extract all fields, the import is flagged as partial:
- An amber alert banner explains that some fields could not be extracted automatically.
- Missing required fields (headline, street address, suburb, state) are listed as badges.
- The Publish button is disabled until all required fields are completed.
Saving and Publishing
From the review page, you can:
- Save Draft — Save your changes while keeping the listing in draft status.
- Publish — Save and immediately set the listing to active status (if all required fields are complete).
- Cancel — Return to the listings dashboard without additional changes.
Portals & Sync
The Portals & Sync page provides a centralised hub for managing integrations with external listing systems and property portals.
