Lead Management

Every contact form submission on your website is captured as a lead in your leads inbox. ListHouze tracks where each lead came from, which listing they were viewing, and lets you manage them through a simple status pipeline.

How Leads Are Captured

When a visitor fills out a contact form on your website, a lead record is created automatically with:

  • Name - The visitor's name
  • Email - The visitor's email address
  • Phone - Phone number (if provided)
  • Message - The visitor's message or inquiry
  • Source path - Which page on your website they submitted the form from
  • Listing - If they were viewing a specific property, it is linked to the lead

Contact forms appear on your Contact page, property listing detail pages, and any section that includes a contact form.

Info

Contact forms are public - visitors do not need a ListHouze account to submit an inquiry. This ensures you never miss a potential lead.

Accessing Your Leads

Navigate to Website → Leads in your dashboard sidebar to view your leads inbox.

Leads are displayed newest first, with each entry showing the contact name, email, source page, and current status.

Lead Status Pipeline

Each lead moves through a status pipeline as you work with them:

StatusDescription
NewJust submitted, not yet reviewed
ContactedYou have reached out to the lead
QualifiedThe lead is a genuine prospect
ConvertedThe lead has become a client or completed a transaction
ArchivedThe lead is no longer active

Click on a lead's status to change it. The typical flow is:

New → Contacted → Qualified → Converted

Archived

Lead Statistics

The leads dashboard includes a stats panel showing:

  • Total leads - All-time count
  • New - Leads awaiting your first response
  • Contacted - Leads you have reached out to
  • Qualified - Confirmed prospects
  • Converted - Successful conversions
  • Archived - Inactive leads

Use these stats to track your conversion rate and identify where leads drop off in your pipeline.

Source Tracking

Each lead records the source_path - the exact page URL where the form was submitted. This helps you understand which pages generate the most inquiries:

  • /contact - General contact page inquiries
  • /listing/abc123 - Interest in a specific property
  • / - Home page contact form

Listing Association

When a lead comes from a property listing page, the specific listing is automatically linked. This lets you see which properties are generating the most inquiries and follow up with relevant property details.

Tip

Respond to new leads as quickly as possible. Studies show that responding within 5 minutes dramatically increases your chance of converting a lead into a client.
