Themes

Themes control the overall visual style of your website - layout patterns, typography defaults, spacing, and design elements. You can switch themes at any time without losing your content or section layout.

Accessing Themes

Navigate to Website → Themes in your dashboard sidebar to browse and apply themes.

Available Themes

Applying a Theme

Free Themes

Click Apply on any free theme to apply it immediately. Your website updates instantly with the new theme's visual style.

Paid Themes

1. Click on a paid theme to preview it
2. Click Purchase to start the checkout process
3. Complete payment through Stripe
4. The theme is added to your account and applied automatically

Once purchased, a paid theme is yours permanently - you can switch away from it and switch back at any time without paying again.

Theme vs. Branding

Themes and branding work together but serve different purposes:

When you switch themes, your branding settings (colors, fonts, logo) are preserved. The theme only changes how those brand elements are presented.

What Happens If Your Subscription Lapses

If you have a paid theme and your subscription payment fails:

1. Your website theme automatically reverts to Basic Classic (free)
2. A "Powered by ListHouze" watermark reappears
3. Your content, sections, and settings are preserved
4. Resuming payment restores your paid theme

Theme previews in the selector show how the theme looks with sample content. After applying a theme, your actual content and branding are used instead.
