The Broker Directory
The broker directory is the public-facing page where property buyers discover and connect with mortgage brokers. This guide explains how the directory works and how to maximise your visibility.
How the Directory Works
The broker directory is available at listhouze.com/mortgage-brokers and is accessible to all visitors without requiring an account. Only verified brokers appear in the directory.
Country-specific directories are also available:

Map & List Views
The directory offers multiple ways to browse brokers:
Map View
An interactive map displays broker locations as pins. Visitors can:
- Pan and zoom to explore different areas
- Click a pin to see a quick preview of the broker (name, company, rating)
- Click through to the broker's full profile
Your pin placement is determined by the office location set in your profile. If you haven't set an office address with geocoding, you won't appear on the map.
List View
A scrollable list of broker cards alongside the map, showing:
- Profile photo
- Display name and company
- Location (suburb, state)
- Specialties
- Star rating and review count
Grid View
A full-width grid of broker cards without the map. Useful for browsing on smaller screens.
On mobile devices, visitors can toggle between map and list views using tabs.
Search & Filters
Visitors can narrow their search using:
Location Search
A location-based search bar that recenters the map and filters results by geographic area.
Text Search
Search by broker name or company name.
Specialty Filter
Filter by area of expertise:
- First Home Buyers
- Home Loans
- Refinancing
- Investment Loans
- Commercial Loans
- Construction Loans
- Self Employed
- Low Deposit
Language Filter
Filter by language spoken:
- English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Korean, Spanish
Mobile Broker Filter
Filter to show only brokers who offer mobile service (travel to the client).
How Results Are Sorted
Directory results are sorted by subscription tier, then by rating:
- Featured brokers (Unlimited tier) - Displayed in a dedicated "Featured Brokers" section at the top
- Priority brokers (Starter tier) - Higher placement in standard results
- Standard brokers (Free tier) - Standard placement
Within each tier, brokers are sorted by their average client rating (highest first).
Your Public Profile Page
Each broker has a dedicated public profile page at:
listhouze.com/mortgage-brokers/your-slug
Your public profile displays:
- Banner image and profile photo
- Display name, company, and verification badge
- Average rating and review count
- Bio
- Specialties
- Service areas
- Lenders panel
- Languages spoken
- Mobile broker badge (if applicable)
- Social media links
- Client reviews
- Contact form and quick message button
- Embedded mortgage calculator
Visitors can contact you directly from your profile via the Contact button or Quick Message feature.
Maximising Your Directory Visibility
- Complete every profile field - Profiles with photos, bios, and service areas rank higher
- Set your office location - Required for map visibility
- Add your languages - Reach multilingual clients searching by language
- Collect reviews - Higher-rated brokers appear more prominently (see Reviews)
- Upgrade your plan - Starter and Unlimited subscribers get priority and featured placement (see Billing & Subscriptions)
- Keep your profile active - Ensure lead intake is not paused if you want to receive enquiries
