Setting Up Your Broker Profile

A complete, well-crafted profile helps you stand out in the broker directory and builds trust with prospective clients. This guide covers every section of the profile editor.

Accessing Your Profile

From the sidebar, navigate to Account > Broker Profile, or go directly to /dashboard/mortgage/profile.

Basic Information

Display Name

Your professional name as shown on your public profile and in directory search results.

Company Name

The name of your brokerage or business.

ABN / ACN

Your Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN). For New Zealand brokers, enter your NZBN. This is used during the verification process.

Email

Your professional contact email. This is the address where you'll receive lead notifications and client enquiries.

Phone

Your business phone number, displayed on your public profile for clients to reach you directly.

Professional Details

Bio

Write a professional summary of your experience, approach, and what makes you different. The bio editor supports rich text formatting. Tips for a strong bio:

  • Lead with your years of experience and key achievements
  • Mention the types of clients you work with most
  • Highlight any awards, accreditations, or industry memberships
  • Keep it concise - 2–3 paragraphs is ideal

Specialties

Select from the available specialty options to help clients find you:

  • First Home Buyers
  • Property Investors
  • Refinancing
  • Commercial Loans
  • Construction Loans
  • Self-Employed
  • Low Doc Loans
  • SMSF Lending

Your specialties appear as filterable tags in the broker directory.

Service Areas

Enter the suburbs, regions, or areas you serve as a comma-separated list (e.g., "Sydney CBD, North Shore, Parramatta"). Service areas help the platform match you with local leads.

Lenders Panel

List the lenders you work with as a comma-separated list (e.g., "ANZ, CBA, Westpac, Macquarie"). This is displayed on your public profile to show clients the range of options you can offer.

Office Location

Address

Enter your office address. The platform uses geocoding to automatically determine your suburb, state, and postcode, and to place you on the broker directory map.

Having a geocoded office location is essential - without it, you won't appear on the map view of the broker directory.

Suburb, State, Postcode

These fields are auto-filled from your address but can be manually adjusted if needed.

Photo & Banner

Profile Photo

Upload a professional headshot. This appears on your broker card in the directory and at the top of your public profile. You can crop and adjust the photo after uploading.

Upload a banner image that appears across the top of your public profile page. Use a high-quality image that represents your brand - your office, team, or a professional branded graphic.

Add links to your professional social media profiles. Supported platforms:

  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter / X
  • YouTube
  • TikTok

Social links are displayed as icons on your public profile, helping clients connect with you on their preferred platform.

Additional Settings

Languages

Enter the languages you speak as a comma-separated list (e.g., "English, Mandarin, Vietnamese"). Languages appear as a filter option in the broker directory, helping multilingual clients find you.

Mobile Broker

Toggle this on if you offer mobile service - meaning you travel to meet clients at their preferred location. This adds a "Mobile" badge to your directory listing and is available as a filter for clients searching for mobile brokers.

Pause / Resume Lead Intake

Use the pause toggle to temporarily stop receiving new lead assignments. Your profile remains live on the directory, but the platform won't route new enquiries to you while paused. This is useful during holidays or when you're at capacity.

Auto-Save

Your profile changes are saved automatically as you type. A sticky save bar at the bottom of the page also allows you to manually trigger a save at any time. You'll see a confirmation when your changes are saved.

Submitting for Verification

Once you've completed the required fields, a Submit for Verification button appears on your dashboard. Required fields include:

  • Display name
  • Email
  • Company name
  • ABN / ACN
  • Office location
  • Profile photo

After submission, your status changes to Pending and our team reviews your profile within 1–2 business days.

Viewing Your Public Profile

Once verified, your public profile is available at:

listhouze.com/mortgage-brokers/your-slug

Your slug is generated from your display name during onboarding. You can view your live profile from the link on your dashboard.
