Connecting Platforms

To publish content directly from ListHouze, you need to connect your social media accounts. ListHouze uses secure OAuth authentication — you authorize access through each platform's own login page, and ListHouze never sees or stores your passwords.

How to Connect

Navigate to Integrations in the Content Creation sidebar to manage your social media connections.

Facebook

Business Page Required

You must have a Facebook Business Page to connect. Personal profiles cannot be used for automated publishing. If you do not have a Business Page, create one at facebook.com/pages/create before proceeding.
  1. Click Connect next to the Facebook logo
  2. Log in with the Facebook account that is an admin of your Business Page
  3. Grant ListHouze permission to manage your Pages and publish content
  4. Select the Page you want to use from the dropdown
  5. Click Save

Instagram

Professional Account Required

Your Instagram account must be a Professional account (Business or Creator) and linked to a Facebook Page. This is a requirement from Meta's API. Switch to a Professional account in the Instagram app settings if needed.
  1. Ensure you have already connected your Facebook Page (Instagram connections route through Facebook's API)
  2. Click Connect next to the Instagram logo
  3. Grant the additional Instagram Content Publishing permission
  4. Select your Instagram Professional account from the dropdown
  5. Click Save

LinkedIn

  1. Click Connect next to the LinkedIn logo
  2. Log in with your LinkedIn credentials
  3. Grant ListHouze permission to post on your behalf
  4. If you manage a Company Page, choose between your personal profile or Company Page
  5. Click Save

Connection Health

Each connected account displays a health indicator:

IndicatorMeaning
Green dotConnection is active and healthy
Yellow dotToken refresh is in progress
Red dotConnection has failed — re-authorization needed

Reconnecting Expired Tokens

Access tokens expire periodically for security. ListHouze refreshes them automatically in the background, but if a refresh fails you will see a "Reconnection Required" banner. Click Reconnect next to the affected platform to re-authorize without losing your configuration or post history.

Disconnecting an Account

Click Disconnect next to any connected platform to remove the connection. Scheduled posts targeting that platform will be canceled, but your existing published posts on the platform are not affected.
