Content Calendar

The content calendar is your command center for planning and scheduling social media posts. It gives you a visual overview of all your upcoming, published, and draft content in one place. Whether you prefer a full week view, a business-week layout, or a simple list, the calendar adapts to how you work.

Accessing the Calendar

Navigate to Social Media from the Marketing section of your dashboard sidebar. The calendar is the default landing page when you enter the Content Creation portal. You can also return to it at any time by clicking Content Creation in the social sidebar navigation.

View Modes

The calendar offers three view modes to suit different planning styles. Switch between them using the dropdown in the top-right corner of the calendar.

ViewWhat It ShowsBest For
Week7-day columns (Monday to Sunday) with posts shown as cards in each dayFull weekly overview of all content
5-Day5-day columns (Monday to Friday) for the business weekAgents who primarily post on weekdays
ListDay-by-day vertical list of all postsQuick scanning and mobile-friendly browsing

Each post card on the calendar displays the post title, status badge, content type, and target platform icons so you can identify content at a glance.

Use the Previous and Next buttons at the top of the calendar to move forward or backward one week at a time. Click the Today button to jump back to the current week instantly. The calendar header always shows the date range you are currently viewing.

Drag-and-Drop Scheduling

One of the most powerful features of the calendar is drag-and-drop rescheduling. You can move posts between days by clicking and dragging a post card from one day column to another. The post's scheduled date updates automatically when you drop it.

The Unplanned Drawer

Click the Unplanned button in the calendar header to open a slide-out drawer showing all draft posts that do not have a scheduled date. These are posts you have saved but not yet assigned to a specific day.

To schedule an unplanned post:

  1. Click Unplanned to open the drawer
  2. Find the draft post you want to schedule
  3. Click and drag it from the drawer onto a day column on the calendar
  4. Release to drop it — the post is now scheduled for that day

Tip

Use the Unplanned drawer as a content backlog. Create several draft posts in advance, then drag them onto your calendar throughout the week to maintain a consistent posting schedule without the pressure of creating content in real time.

Creating Content from the Calendar

Click the Create button at the top of the calendar to open the post editor and start a new piece of content. You can also click on any empty area within a day column to create a new post pre-set to that date.

Clicking on an existing post card opens it in the post editor where you can review, edit, or publish it.
